Quandron or YourTradebase

YourTradebase prices one plan as a base rate for the first user with a smaller amount for every extra person.

That makes it the lowest of the five we looked at for somebody working alone, and it is a genuinely different curve from ours: it starts below us and climbs a step with each hire, where our rate sits flat and then steps once.

No credit card · running in minutes · flat rate per business

In short: YourTradebase suits a sole trader or a small team, where the base rate is the whole bill or close to it. Quandron suits a firm that has passed the point where each new login is worth thinking about — on their published rates that is somewhere around 9 people.

A staircase against a flat rate

Our own prices are the ones in the table: £45, £89 and £139 a month, flat per business.

YourTradebase charges £29 for the first user and £15 for each one after that. So the bill goes up a step with every person, and ours does not.

On those published rates their staircase passes our top rate at around 9 people. Below that they come out lower and we would rather say so; above it the flat rate does, and it stays flat.

What their page did not settle on the day we read it: whether there are other plans — their page shows one, with users added to it.

Prices as shown on YourTradebase's own pricing page, read on 27/08/2026.

Where Quandron is strong

  • One rate for the business, whatever the headcount
  • The field app works with no signal and syncs when it returns
  • CIS labour and materials split from the point of recording
  • Customers book their own slot against your live diary
  • Quote, job sheet and invoice in one flow, with nothing retyped

Where YourTradebase is strong

  • The lowest published starting rate of the five we compared
  • Extra users cost less than a full seat
  • A 30-day trial, the longest of the five
  • Two months free when you pay for the year

Who is each one for?

Quandron — Firms of roughly 9 people and up, where you would rather not weigh up each new login.

YourTradebase — Sole traders and small teams where the base rate is most of the bill.

Common questions

Is Quandron the lower price?

Not for a sole trader, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Their base rate starts below our smallest. It is from around 9 people that a flat rate comes out lower.

Where does that crossover number come from?

It is worked out from their published rates and ours at build time, not typed into this sentence. If any of the three amounts changes, the number here changes with it.

Where do these figures come from?

From each supplier's own public pricing page, read on the date shown under the table. They can change, and a promotion may be running that is not reflected here — we compare list price with list price, because a promotion ends and a comparison should not.

Why compare the pricing model rather than the features?

Because we have read their pricing pages and not their feature pages. A feature claim about somebody else's product that we have not verified does not belong on this page. The pricing model is published, checkable, and it is where the difference actually shows up on your bill.
