Our own prices are the ones in the table: £45, £89 and £139 a month, flat per business.
ServiceM8 publishes tiers at £25, £59, £119 and £269 a month, allowing 50, 150, 500 and 1500 jobs respectively, with unlimited users on all of them. There is a free tier below those, limited to one user.
So the table below counts jobs and not people. Comparing the two on a price per user would hide the one difference that actually decides it: what happens in a busy month.
At low and steady volumes their tiers come out below our rates, and we would rather write that down than pick a comparison that suits us. What changes the answer is variability — a cap costs nothing until the month you pass it.
Prices as shown on ServiceM8's own pricing page, read on 27/08/2026.

Common questions
Which one is the flat rate?
Both are, and that is what makes this comparison worth reading. The difference is what the flat rate buys: theirs allows a number of jobs a month, ours does not count them.
What happens in a busy month?
With us, nothing — the rate is the rate. With a tiered allowance you either move up a tier or pay for the extra jobs; their published figure for that is in the table.
Where do these figures come from?
From each supplier's own public pricing page, read on the date shown under the table. They can change, and a promotion may be running that is not reflected here — we compare list price with list price, because a promotion ends and a comparison should not.
Why compare the pricing model rather than the features?
Because we have read their pricing pages and not their feature pages. A feature claim about somebody else's product that we have not verified does not belong on this page. The pricing model is published, checkable, and it is where the difference actually shows up on your bill.
